  • 1 bunch fresh kale (aprx 4 cups) washed and dried
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 dash salt

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • Wash and dry fresh kale. If you bought large leaves, then chop out stem and cut/break into smaller pieces. (Tip: save time by purchasing prewashed and cut kale in bags.)
  • Massage extra virgin olive oil into every crease.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper. Lay out kale chips single layer on sheet.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder and salt lightly over the tray.
  • Place into oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until brown. Be careful not to burn them! (Tip: if you find the pieces are cooked unevenly, try rotating the pan halfway through cooking time.)
  • Cool a few moments and then enjoy! They can be stored for later use in a air-tight container.
