Covid-19 Quarantine – Home Workout With Toddler
Around the world we are dealing with an unprecedented health scare! Covid-19, or Coronavirus, has many countries asking everyone to practice ‘social distancing’. Large events are cancelled and leaving the house is not recommended except when absolutely necessary.
The gyms may be closed in your area, or you perhaps decided to err on the side of caution and stop going. However, exercise is a great stress relief, and finding a way to be active at home is super important!!
Watch the short video to see how my infant daughter and I got our sweat on this morning. It can be tough to come up with ideas when you have limited equipment, I understand! Look at the bottom of the page for more information on how you can access HUNDREDS of complete home workouts RIGHT NOW! I will also be posting some more of my workouts on my social media @sweatwithjulie and @julie.germaine and have listed the exercises I did today below for you so you can try my workout for yourself. If you do not have dumbbells, use resistance bands or just grab a heavy object!
There are hundreds of exercises you can do at home with no equipment! Listed below are the ones you see me performing in this 20 minute home workout with my 19 month old toddler. I recommend trying to do 1 to 3 sets, of each exercise, and aim for 8 to 15 repetitions. As you will see from this free home workout video, my daughter wanted loads of attention today (surprise surprise!) so I simply tried to keep moving to burn calories and fit in exercises where I could :)
