Summarize your current fitness goal/s in 20 words: I really wanted to trim down and see more of my abs.


Please share your fitness journey:

It all started out great, the workouts were fun and challenging.
I have been on some really strict diets before, so I found the food Julie had laid out for me was easy to follow, and I found a lot of the food was yummy.  I had run into a couple of big life challenges as I’m sure a lot of people do. I started a new job, and I am in the trades working with my hands. With this new job, I found that it was very physical heavy work almost everyday.
I had troubles with having the energy to get through workouts, or even trouble wanting to go to the gym.
Then on top of that I was having a really rough time with my relationship.
At midway through the program I emailed Jules and said that I was at a point where I just don’t think I could finish the program. I felt almost paralyzed from the problems I was having. I even had a really bad night of food and drinking from all the stress. I felt like I had ruined my progress. Julie talked me through it all and got me back on track and able to finish this thing out! She is so down to earth, forgiving and compassionate.

So personally I was not perfect at this journey, but I got through it and have made some great changes and I’m really happy with my results.
I feel like I could have done better, but life happens, and I think these are real life results.

Thanks to Julie for putting up this program and being there for me every step of the way. I look and feel great. Not bad for 50 anyway!


What is your longterm fitness goal/s? I would like to trim a little more to get my abs better, and then to do a clean bulk up to get more muscled up.


How has your coach helped you be successful? Julie always responded quickly to questions I had or even talking about good workouts and asking me about how things were going. I had some questions on the diet and she responded quickly.


What obstacles did you face? What was the hardest part? Tough physical job and relationship troubles.  Mentally getting through those were the toughest thing.


You are an inspiration! What bit of advice would you like to share with others?

We all have things going on in life.
No matter how difficult or what is going on, make time for your fitness!
When you don’t feel like going to the gym, just tell yourself, I will go and just do a light workout or something just quick.
Get yourself there and do something. Something is better than nothing.
You may surprise yourself and end up having a killer workout.
I have gone sometimes feeling burned out from my job, and this energy comes out of nowhere and end up having a wicked workout!
Always have a plan to go. Make it a part of what you do.
Make it priority. Most people put workouts on the bottom of the list.
Put it near the top.
Friends will invite me out to something or a dinner or outing.. I will say, ok, after my workout I will be there. And I will say I may be a bit late because I have to do my workout.
Get it done, and be consistent!
The results are worth it. Loving to see your awesome bod in the mirror is worth it. Then you take it everywhere. To the mall, the beach, pool, and always feel great. Look awesome in clothes.
Can’t beat that!
